Adhan Zero is built by Steps to Jannah, a nonprofit organization. We believe prayer apps should not collect, store, or sell your data. This policy is simple because our practices are simple.
What we collect
Nothing.
Location data
Adhan Zero requests your location only to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. Your coordinates are processed entirely on your device. They are never transmitted to any server. We do not have servers.
Data storage
All your settings, city selection, and preferences are stored locally on your device using standard platform storage. Nothing is synced to the cloud. If you delete the app, your data is gone.
Network calls
Adhan Zero makes zero network calls for prayer times, city search, timezone detection, or Qibla direction. Everything is calculated on-device using a bundled city database and your device's own clock.
The only network activity occurs if you choose to stream a surah recitation, which loads audio from QuranicAudio.com (a public Quran audio archive). This happens only when you press play, and no identifying information is sent.
Analytics and tracking
There are none. No analytics SDKs. No crash reporting. No usage tracking. No fingerprinting. No ad networks. Zero.
Advertising
There is no advertising in Adhan Zero. There never will be.
Children
Adhan Zero does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we ever update this policy, we will post the revised version at this URL. Given that we collect nothing, we do not anticipate meaningful changes.
